Inventory Map

As an optional project, I was tasked with developing a system to track the location of various inventory items. There are two main storage rooms: one with an old office setting and the other with rows of shelves.

Each room had a sketched layout in relation to the door. Items were drawn to be on top of or under furniture, labeled in groups, or explained if the item was not clearly labeled or understood.

When I uploaded these maps into Adobe Illustrator, I color-coded them. The key stated whether the spot was empty, unknown, furniture, or a certain category of items. It was drawn as accurately as possible on a smaller scale. Now, these maps live in the Alumni Office’s OneDrive to locate their items more efficiently.
