Frgmntd Notes
Frgmntd Notes is an extensive product branding and packaging design capstone project developed for my Master's degree, featuring a physical, 12-month productivity journal designed as a tabletop RPG. Built to gamify executive function challenges and support the ADHD brain, the system translates daily academic responsibilities into heroic quests. I engineered the visual identity around high-contrast typography and retro-inspired gaming aesthetics while also establishing a complete brand system backed by a full market launch strategy, targeted crowdfunding goals, and demographic segmentation data.
The Analog Sanctuary: A deep dive into the 12-month physical journal layout system. Designed explicitly to bypass digital distractions, the system begins with character sheets detailing personal stats, abilities, and inventories to anchor user identity. Specialized structural assets like custom calendar grids, weekly plots, and reflective end-of-section prompts seamlessly transform everyday academic tasks into clear, bite-sized quests.
Presentation Deck: Alongside the physical layout designs, I built and delivered a comprehensive master's-level presentation outlining the entire brand launch. The resulting deck covers everything from our hyper-specific target market segmentation to localized guerrilla marketing rollouts, framing the entire visual ecosystem within a data-driven business model engineered for immediate real-world viability.
Guerrilla Marketing: As part of the promotional strategy mix, these targeted physical bookmarks serve as intentional, low-stimulus pattern-interrupters. Distributed inside physical textbooks throughout local college campus clusters, they feature a functional, mini daily tracking layout complete with quest logs and power-up slots to introduce users directly to the brand ecosystem.
